Job Summary

The Sales Development Executive will play a key role in identifying, generating and closing sales opportunities through outbound calling activities and field sales for our break-through technology. The primary responsibility would be to help convert leads into qualified opportunities by partnering with marketing and close them as successful deals.

The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.

Our target market covers a wide range of segments and geographic territories, with a B2B focus. This position requires approximately 60% of time in field sales. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with Sales Team and management to plan and implement sales strategy

  • Qualify prospects provided by the Marketing Team

  • Schedule introductory, follow-up, and closing meetings with prospects

  • Sell products by establishing contact with and developing relationships with prospects; recommend solutions based on requirement analysis

  • Document sales activities in the CRM system regularly and provide reports

  • Maintain relationships with our existing customers and channel partners

  • Increase sales revenue by up-selling to our existing customers

  • Participate in exhibitions and conferences on behalf of Devic Earth

  • Enhance professional knowledge and skills by participating in training programs sponsored by Devic Earth or outside organizations; bench-marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies; and completion of our Self Development Program

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Field Sales experience - 2 years

  • Good communication skills - written and spoken

  • Proficiency in English and Hindi

  • B2B sales experience would be preferred

  • Understanding of environmental issues would be a bonus
