Devic Earth is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager to lead sales in Gujarat. This role will be part of our Sales Team which brings our Pure Skies air pollution control technology to our target customers in heavy industries. This is a Field Sales position. When not meeting customers, the candidate can Work From Home out of Ahmedabad or Surat. Experience in B2B sales is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Grow revenue for your territory to Rs. 3 Cr by end of year one and Rs. 6 Cr by end of year two
    1. Onboard 2 key accounts in each of the following market segments by end of year one: Cement; steel; specialty chemicals; ports; and fertilizer industries
  2. Assist our Channel Partners:
    1. Support channel partners so that at least 80% achieve sales revenue targets by end of year two
    2. Provide support for demos, installations, and servicing in coordination with our service technicians and operations team
  1. Coordinate with senior management to meet Sales Team objectives

Required Skills:

  • MBA from a reputed university
  • 2-5 years of work experience
  • Strong B2B sales experience, particularly in heavy industries and/or manufacturing
  • Experience with enterprise sales
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English. Poor English writing skills will not be accepted.
  • Willing to travel extensively across Gujarat and occasionally to states where your existing customers are located


Important Details:


Salary: Rs. 4.5-5 lakhs per annum CTC (fixed component) plus Rs. 5.04 lakhs Sales Linked Incentives (at “on target compensation”) p.a. Benefits include an Employee Stock Option Pool (ESOPs to start after the company meets certain revenue targets), provident fund (PF), individual health insurance, generous leave policy, and a professional development program.


Experience: 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales 


Language: English (Fluent reading and writing required), Hindi (required), and Gujarati (required)
